This project  will  involve students in a topic they are familiar with and in which they will have the opportunity

  •  to reinforce their ability in the use of the ICT;
  •  to know more about the musical culture of their partners’ countries;
  • to reflect upon the importance of songs in learning a foreign language
  •  to realize how much of culture is involved in them;
  • to compare and contrast the values represented in songs from different cultures;
  • to reflect upon the language of music, considering imagery, literary and language devices;
  • to work in groups exchanging opinions, ideas and suggestions; discuss about issues which are presented in songs.

 

 Songs will be used in every step of the project i.e. songs and other forms of art, songs as a window to a culture, songs and the English language, songs as a topic for discussions.
